Due to low temperatures, we spent the second quarter of the WTD project analyzing data with the help of the iNaturalist application and a list of insects from the collection of the natural history department of the Varaždin City Museum.
Through the iNaturalist application, we analyzed about three hundred finds along the Drava River from the Croatian-Slovenian border to Lake Varaždin. The list of insects of the Varaždin City Museum contains a huge number of individuals.
Data analysis indicates the emergence of species that have not been recorded recently and can be found today in other geographical regions of Croatia. The fieldwork included the analysis of macrozoobenthos and the taking of a water sample for chemical analysis.
